Our baby is here in time for Christmas

Baby H was born last week.  He weighed 8 lbs and 2 ounces, he is 22 inches long according to his pediatrician. He is very handsome like his brother even though I don't think they look very much alike :)  We are resting and recuperating as best we can.  My wonderful MIL came to stay last week after I left the hospital and her support and care made the transition over to being a mom to two boys makes me want to cry it was wonderful.

Anyhow I have been watching way too many Korean dramas lately.  A is really unsure what to make of things.  First mommy is sick and then we move to a new house and now this baby brother person.  He likes to go up to his brother and wrestle him or something.

Mr. Bob is working full time now but since he is so close I have so much less to worry about.  I even went to walmart a few times recently since the baby has been born and it felt so good to get out of the house and take care of things.  I have even been getting dishes washed and stuff picked up and am hoping to slowly finishing organizing the house.

We will be spending Christmas with our families who live in the same city we used to live.  I am glad about that and sad.  Glad to be celebrating with our families and sad that we won't be able to get started on our own traditions this year.  Having a baby this time of year has made all our traditions fall to the wayside.  

We are also experiencing the extreme sleep deprivation that only a newborn can bring.  I can't wait until they get to the crawling stage since by then they are sleeping through the night and generally have their naps down solidly.  I also can't wait until spring when I will be able to take the kids out for daily walks.

I have had a chance to reflect on how lucky I truly am to be here with a husband who has a good job and two wonderful children, especially since I thought that we might not be blessed with any.  Also that they are so healthy.  As much as we have been through since being married and even my whole life I am really blessed in this time of my life.  Even though I face new challenges.  Anyhow the physical relief I feel since having my little boy is just amazing and I wish I had time to do even more projects around the house, but that will hopefully come in time I just need to be patient.
